Privacy Policy

Habstract (the "App") is a habit tracker designed with your privacy as the highest priority. This policy explains how we handle (and do not handle) your information.

1. No Data Collection

We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. You are never required to:

• Create an account or username
• Provide an email address
• Submit any identifying information
• Accept cookies or tracking

Because we collect nothing, we cannot see, sell, or lose your data — there is simply no data to compromise.

2. Local & iCloud Storage (Your Control)

All habit data — including habit names, completion logs, streaks, and reminders — lives exclusively in two places you control:

• On your device (local storage)
• Optionally, in your personal iCloud account if you enable iCloud sync

We cannot access your iCloud data. Apple manages iCloud storage under its own Apple Privacy Policy. Disabling iCloud sync keeps all data strictly on your device.

3. Payments & Subscriptions

All payments are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. Habstract never sees, collects, or stores:

• Credit card numbers
• Billing addresses
• Any payment credentials

Subscription status is verified locally on your device via Apple's receipt validation. We do not run any servers that track your subscription.

4. No Third-Party Services

Habstract contains zero third-party SDKs, frameworks, or services. This means:

• No analytics (Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel, etc.)
• No crash reporters (Crashlytics, Sentry, etc.)
• No advertising networks (AdMob, Meta, etc.)
• No tracking pixels or fingerprinting

The App does not make any network requests except to Apple's servers for:

• iCloud sync (if you enable it)
• App Store receipt validation (for subscriptions)

5. No Health or Sensitive Data

You may choose to track habits related to wellness, but Habstract does not classify any data as Apple HealthKit data, collect medical or biometric information, or share any habit content — because we never receive it.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, regardless of age.

7. Your Rights & Control

• Delete everything: Uninstalling the App removes all local data. To delete iCloud-synced data, disable iCloud sync or delete the App's data from iCloud settings.
• No data to export: There is no data stored by us to request, correct, or transfer.
• No surveillance: We have no way to identify you or track your usage across devices.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

If we update this policy, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated Effective Date.
